How did you get into producing? How would you describe the music you do?
I began DJing when I was 19. Then in 1996, curious about creating my own sound, I followed a sound engineering course. I was hooked!
My music? I always like to create a personalised fusion of warm, deep, groovy, funky sounds – be it Detroit, Chicago, Jazz, Bass, Techno, TechHouse.... It also has to be music that really touches my soul, that evokes emotions, that makes you want to dance ...“music that moves you”.
I guess the title of my latest album describes my music best - “No Boundaries”

Talking of “No Boundaries”, do you have plans to release another album or EP soon?
An album will follow for sure, but its a personal journey that needs a lot of time. As I’m busy heading up Intacto Records as well as DJing abroad most weekends – time is a luxury that I don't have at the moment. Having said that I did manage to get some studio time recently and my new EP will be out soon on Intacto.

So what was the initial idea behind Intacto Records? Has it evolved through the years...?
When I founded Intacto Records in 2004, my intention was to offer a catalogue which would surprise each time From Chicago to Detroit, from minimal techno to techhouse.... My concept for the label is still the same today – music for the dancefloor. I refuse for it to be thrown under one specific criteria – it's about presenting artists that have their own unique identity and personal vision of electronic dance music.

What’s the record you feel most proud of? Why?
Phunk tracks, still so amazed about how I made this track in 3 days, and got so big in the dancescene!

If you could change one thing about the electronic music scene, what would it be?
That all clubs had brilliant sound systems.

If you could go on holiday tomorrow – where would you go to?
To South America, I had some gigs in Brazil, but for a holiday I would like to travel around and see more places

What food/cuisine would you get out of bed for?
S U S H I !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you could have dinner this evening with one artist, who would you eat with?
Stevie Wonder

So what do you love to do on your days off? (if you have days off)
I love yoga, watching movies, hanging out with friends whenever I can, but I must say music is a huge part of my life.

What advice would you give to someone that wanted to start DJing or producing?
2 things:
1. Always believe in yourself
2. Heart not hype: Do it because you’re passionate about it, not because of the hype surrounding the scene.

Are you into myspace, twitter, facebook, soundcloud etc?

Future plans/projects?
More releases. I plan to spend more time in the studio....oh and I need to decorate my new home too!

What can a club expect if they book you?
Diversity - but always warm, deep, funky sets for the dancefloor....
